In 2014, the Bran\u00adden\u00adburg Medi\u00adcal School (MHB), a pri\u00adva\u00adte uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adty, was foun\u00added based on ide\u00adas from a simi\u00adlar uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adty based in Witten\/Herdecke. It refor\u00admed the medi\u00adcal cur\u00adri\u00adcu\u00adlum from the Cha\u00adri\u00adt\u00e9 which has been dis\u00adcon\u00adtin\u00adued the\u00adre in the mean\u00adti\u00adme. The main goal was to not only con\u00adsider a student\u2019s marks (or \u2018Nume\u00adrus Clau\u00adsus\u2019) as the only admis\u00adsi\u00adon requi\u00adre\u00adment to enter medi\u00adcal school. We wan\u00adted to include the docu\u00admen\u00adted social-human com\u00admit\u00adment which remains as cor\u00adrect as it is unique.<\/p>\n
The \u201eHealth Cam\u00adpus\u201c, which lin\u00adked the Bran\u00adden\u00adburg Medi\u00adcal School to the Uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adty of Pots\u00addam and the Bran\u00adden\u00adburg Tech\u00adni\u00adcal Uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adty Cott\u00adbus-Senf\u00adten\u00adberg (b\u2011tu) as spon\u00adso\u00adring uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adties, was inten\u00added to reor\u00adga\u00adni\u00adze the health sci\u00adence com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adty in the sta\u00adte of Bran\u00adden\u00adburg. Three pro\u00adjects were fun\u00added for this pur\u00adpo\u00adse and \u201edigi\u00adlog\u201c was one of them. It was the one pro\u00adject that even\u00adtual\u00adly beca\u00adme the most visi\u00adble. \u201edigi\u00adlog\u201c cap\u00adtu\u00adred thoughts that were being for\u00admu\u00adla\u00adted and dis\u00adcus\u00adsed ever\u00ady\u00adwhe\u00adre on podi\u00adums and in pod\u00adcasts at that time. This first signa\u00adtu\u00adre pro\u00adject beca\u00adme big on a lar\u00adge sca\u00adle and repre\u00adsen\u00adted inno\u00adva\u00adti\u00adve forms of care at the cross\u00adroads of digi\u00adtal breakth\u00adroughs. With the Ger\u00adman natio\u00adnal joint pro\u00adject \u201edigi\u00adlog\u201c we estab\u00adlished an eHe\u00adalth Cen\u00adter to pro\u00adcess a wide varie\u00adty of data from \u201edigi\u00adtal tools and weara\u00adbles\u201c: from weara\u00adble sen\u00adsors (weara\u00adbles and implants), point-of-care tests (POCT) up until mobi\u00adle ima\u00adging. This included, for exam\u00adp\u00adle, a 1\u20137 day 3 lead ECG-patch, a blood pres\u00adsu\u00adre ear sen\u00adsor and imple\u00admen\u00adted Apple Watch data.
